Adding Page Links
A page link is a link from text or an image to another page within the HelpConsole. Follow the instructions below to create a link.
Text Link
1. Select the text on the page that you wish to create a link.
2. Click the 'Document Manager' icon
3. Select the page in the list that you wish to link to. Click 'Insert'.
Note: If the page was added to the contents but the project was not saved, the page will not be displayed in the document list.
4. The link will be created. The text will be blue with an underline. Note: links are not active in edit mode. Click 'Live Mode' or publish a Static help system to test the links.
Image Link
1. Select an image on the page that you wish to create a link.
2. Click the 'Document Manager' icon
3. Select the page in the list that you wish to link to. Click 'Insert'.
Note: If the page was added to the contents but the project was not saved, the page will not be displayed in the document list.
4. The link will be created. The image will appear the same as before but when published will display a hand cursor when the mouse is moved over it.
